We’re delighted to welcome Pien and Patrick of Jasmijn Bloembinders as our newest ambassadors. For almost three decades, this husband-and-wife team has been delighting customers from their flower shop in Haarlem, known for their vibrant style, exceptional quality and unmistakable passion for roses.

Their love story with flowers began early. “When I was 17, Patrick gave me my very first Ecuadorian roses, a beautiful mixed bouquet. I’ve never forgotten it,” Pien recalls. Decades later, roses are still at the heart of almost everything she creates.

At Jasmijn Bloembinders, colour takes the lead. “The more colour, the better,” says Pien. “When you walk down a street and see colour, you want to stop and look. Colour makes people happy.”

Every morning, Patrick selects the freshest blooms in Aalsmeer and increasingly, sprayroses come home with him. “The quality is fantastic, the colours keep improving, and we’re definitely buying more and selling more sprayroses than ever before.”

Ask Pien what makes them so special and her answer is beautifully simple: “Sprayroses are like the glue in a bouquet.” They soften designs, bridge focal flowers and add movement, texture and a natural garden feel.

“It’s a real honour,” she says of the ambassadorship. “If we can help more people fall in love with sprayroses, then that’s something very special.”
