At The World of Spray Roses, we love celebrating florists who bring creativity, personality, and passion to their work. If you’ve ever scrolled Instagram and stopped to admire a bouquet brimming with ruffles, frills, and romantic colour palettes, chances are you’ve seen Fairy Nuff Flowers. Behind the beautiful, much-loved content is Steph! Florist, storyteller, and lifelong devotee of spray roses.
From Sports Desk to Flower Desk
Steph’s path into floristry wasn’t conventional. Once a BBC sports journalist, she re-trained with Jane Packer over 20 years ago and never looked back. Though sport still holds a place in her heart, flowers quickly became her true passion. Today, she lives and works near Twickenham in Southwest London, where Fairy Nuff Flowers has flourished into a much-loved creative brand.
The Story of Fairy Nuff
Her business name carries childhood magic: “Fairy Nuff” was the name her dad gave to her tooth fairy, signing sweet notes under her pillow. When it came to naming her business, it felt perfect, and it clearly resonates, with strangers even stopping her van in traffic to say how much they love it.
A Wedding Specialist
After years of running a shop, Steph now focuses entirely on weddings, the work she loves most. “Wedding flowers are my passion,” she says. “There’s nothing quite like creating designs that will forever be part of someone’s biggest day.”
For Steph, Spray Roses are at the heart of these designs. Their colour range, textures, and versatility make them a staple in bouquets, urns, vases, and buttonholes. Julietta, with its soft ruffles, is a favourite, but she also treasures Majolica, Bridal Flow, and the Piano Spray Roses for their fragrance and character.
Signature Style
Steph is known for her soft, romantic palettes of pinks, peaches, and pale blues, with a striking pop of colour. “That little bit of blue cornflower, delphinium, or scabious against warm tones is very me,” she says. Still, she admires the timeless elegance of classic white-and-green, which Spray Roses complement beautifully.
Current trends reflect her style too; brides are embracing vibrant colours, textured greenery, and ruffly blooms such as ranunculus, hydrangea, and garden roses. Looking ahead, she predicts even more foliage paired with Spray Roses will continue to dominate.
The Fairy Nuff Touch
With over two decades of experience, Steph has carved out a style that blends elegance with playfulness, underpinned by her love of spray roses. Whether it’s a Julietta-filled bouquet, a cascading urn arrangement, or a timeless white-and-green design, her creations carry the unmistakable Fairy Nuff touch: romantic, whimsical, and always memorable.
For us at The World of Spray Roses, Steph’s story is a celebration of why spray roses matter; they’re versatile, full of character, and endlessly inspiring. In the hands of florists like Steph, these little blooms take centre stage, transforming weddings and reminding us that beauty lies in the details.
