Why It Matters
Kenya’s floriculture industry sustains over 200,000 direct jobs, 1.5 million indirect jobs, and impacts more than 4 million lives. With shifting global market demands, climate challenges, and evolving consumer expectations, the sector’s future depends on balancing growth with responsibility.
From soil regeneration to sustainable packaging, from wetlands to renewable energy, these award-winning farms are proving that Kenya’s flowers are not only beautiful but also symbols of resilience, stewardship, and hope.
A Milestone for The World of Spray Roses
We are incredibly proud that three of our members: Red Lands Roses SEZ Plc, Tambuzi Garden Roses, and Sian Flowers™, were recognised at this year’s Pinnacle Awards. Their achievements reinforce our collective mission: to nurture roses that embody beauty, innovation, and sustainability.
This is more than recognition. It is a reminder that the future of floriculture lies in farming with purpose and that our community is at the forefront of shaping that future.
What makes this even more inspiring is that these awards reflect a much wider story: across Kenya, farms are placing sustainability at the very centre of their work. From soil regeneration to renewable energy and community empowerment, the country’s growers are showing the world that flowers can be both breathtakingly beautiful and deeply responsible.
Well done to you all, we are incredibly proud of you!
