We are very excited to share this one with you… a brand-new, seriously special Spray Rose that stopped us in our tracks. Now, before we begin, full disclosure, she’s not fully commercial just yet… but we simply couldn’t keep her to ourselves any longer. Some things are just too good not to share early.
The Spray Roses Specialists Behind the Bloom
Before we introduce Caradonna properly, let’s talk about the growers behind her, because when it comes to Spray Roses, they truly know their craft. The Van Seters Roses family has been growing roses since 1978, building decades of expertise rooted in passion and precision.
Originally focused on large-flowered varieties like Sonia and Laminuette in Maasdijk, they made a defining shift in 1999 to Spray Roses and never looked back. Since then, Spray Roses have been at the heart of everything they do. From the much-loved Mimi Eden, known for its distinctive appearance and exceptional vase life, to varieties such as Femke, Artesia, Pink Yo-Yo, Mint Tea, First Date, Lara, and Baby Pink Yo-Yo, their range is a true celebration of Spray Roses.
Now based in De Lier and run by Gertjan and Corine van Seters, their nursery produces Spray Roses year-round. Roses are harvested six days a week, then carefully sorted by length, bud size, and cluster volume before being prepared for auction and direct trade. As proud members of Decorum and part of the World of Spray Roses family, their commitment to quality is clear in every single stem.
Grown with Care: Sustainable Spray Roses
Van Seters is a modern greenhouse operation where innovation and sustainability go hand in hand. Energy is generated in-house using a CHP (combined heat and power) system, with plans to connect to geothermal energy, LED lighting, solar panels, and biological crop protection, all of which play a role in creating optimal growing conditions.
By using natural enemies to manage pests and focusing on environmentally conscious practices, these Spray Roses are grown as responsibly as they are beautifully, allowing everyone to enjoy them with complete peace of mind.

Bred by Interplant Roses and exclusively grown by Van Seters, this is what we’re calling the next generation of red Spray Roses. Its rich, velvety red colour immediately draws you in, while its exceptionally thick, strong stems and generous clusters of blooms give it real presence.
This is a Spray Rose designed to stand out. Bold yet elegant, structured yet romantic, it’s everything florists love, all in one variety.
For florists and designers, Caradonna delivers that instant “wow” factor. Whether used as a striking focal flower or layered through a design for added depth and texture, it brings strength, richness, and impact to every arrangement.

And now for the exciting news, Caradonna has recently been awarded 2nd place at the prestigious Keukenhof rose shows, where top-quality Dutch-grown spray roses are judged by professional traders and technicians. A remarkable achievement that further highlights its exceptional quality and potential.
A Limited First Look
Right now, Caradonna is available in limited quantities, around 500 stems per week, making it something of a hidden gem for those lucky enough to discover it early. Larger volumes are expected later in the year, but for now, it’s very much a “those in the know” moment.
